Vertical saws are particularly useful for cutting irregular shapes. The radius of a curve that can be cut on a particular saw is determined by the width of the band. A Cold Saw is a saw that uses a blade and coolant to make a cool clean cut, this application is good for materials that bend and warp from heat.
